We Effect

Swedish organisation with a 90-account (Svensk Insamlingskontroll). Based in: Sweden. Founded 1958. Main sector: human rights and democracy.

WeEffect works for people living in poverty and vulnerability to have a better life. “Helping people help themselves” is the guiding star in our work. We help farmers grow more and better food and in a sustainable way. We are working to increase gender equality because we know it leads to poverty reduction. We work with rural development, housing, gender equality and access to land. We know that together people find new ways out of poverty and become a strong voice in society. Therefore, we support people to cooperate and gain new knowledge. As a result, more people receive increased income, food on the table and dignified housing - and can get rid of poverty for good. We Effect has activities in 25 countries in four continents, and in order for these changes to work, we always work with local organizations in place.

They include funds passed on to local partners. Not all donors name the recipient of their payments, so figures may be incomplete; EU funds are in their own section.
