The activities of the NGO are aimed at satisfying, protecting and implementing the rights and freedoms promoting the processes of developing democracy and consolidating civil society in Ukraine, improving the legal, political, environmental, educational and spiritual component of Ukrainian society, supporting the efforts of civil society in implementing the concept of sustainable development; promoting the implementation of the scientific, creative, political, organizational, environmental, social, educational and other potential of Ukrainian society. VRUNA's key directions include: 1. Protection, preservation and restoration of ecosystems 2. Adaptation of natural ecosystems to climate change 3. Adaptation of urbanized ecosystems to climate change 4. Supporting "soft" nature management through cooperation with local authorities 5. Implementation of cross-sectoral projects regarding sustainable nature management and restoration of ecosystems 6. Implementation of social projects on issues of support and restoration of military personnel, veterans and their family members, volunteers. 7. Implementation of humanitarian projects regarding the popularization of Ukrainian culture, traditions, literature, etc.
