Instituto BVRio

International NGO from Brazil

BVRio is a non-profit organisation created in 2011 in Brazil, and now operating internationally, with offices in Brazil, United Kingdom, Switzerland, China, Ghana, and Indonesia. Working at the intersection of environmental, economic, and social sustainability, we develop innovative market-based solutions to protect our forests and oceans and empower people working in low-income countries. Our work is focused around four ambitious goals: climate change mitigation, sustainable forest management, sustainable agriculture, and circular economy. BVRio’s scope of work ranges from community-based projects, through environmental consultancy to development of digital solutions to support the green economy.
