CESC works to strengthen the capacity of citizens and Civil Society Organizations for active participation in socio-economic and political development processes, investing in the promotion of tools and facilitation of civic engagement, shared learning, monitoring and advocacy for public policies and services that respond to citizens' needs. Currently publishing one activity on IATI, called Igual: Rights and Democracy program. The program will support formal and informal civil society groups in Mozambique and aims to leverage linkages and synergies between established and emerging national and local CSOs based on the belief that through collaboration, information sharing, and synergy creation, CSOs will be more effective in their defense and advocacy for change.
